Vlad Matveyev serves as Clinical Manager at Elkhorn Dermatology and Valeriya Life Medical Spa, where he oversees daily operations, patient experience, technology, and strategic practice development. Since joining the team in 2019, Vlad has played a central role in helping the practice grow while ensuring patients receive an organized, welcoming, and professional experience from their first phone call through the completion of their visit.
As one of the first people patients meet, Vlad coordinates appointments, assists with online scheduling, answers patient questions, and helps guide individuals through registration, paperwork, consent forms, and electronic check-in. He also assists patients with administrative requests, including superbills, pathology and biopsy reports, insurance documentation, coding reports, and other resources needed before and after their appointments.
Behind the scenes, Vlad oversees many aspects of the clinic’s daily operations, including inventory management, product ordering, facility maintenance, technology coordination, safety, and workflow optimization. Working closely with the clinical and administrative team, he helps ensure the practice operates efficiently while maintaining the high standards of organization, professionalism, and patient care that define Elkhorn Dermatology.
In addition to managing clinic operations, Vlad leads the practice’s digital presence and marketing initiatives. For more than seven years, he has collaborated with website developers, IT specialists, and the clinical team to oversee website development, online scheduling systems, search engine optimization (SEO), digital marketing, social media strategy, and patient education. Working closely with Valeriya Kettelhut and Margaret Matveyev, he helps develop patient education, website content, and marketing campaigns that connect patients with evidence-based dermatology, cosmetic, and wellness services throughout Omaha and the surrounding communities.
He is passionate about continuously improving the systems, technology, and processes that support both patients and providers, helping the practice deliver a modern, efficient, and personalized healthcare experience.
Vlad earned his Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Government from Arizona State University, with a minor in Business Administration and Management. His background in business operations, technology, and organizational management allows him to bridge the clinical and administrative sides of the practice, supporting both patients and staff while helping the clinic continue to grow.
Fluent in both English and Russian, Vlad is committed to making every patient feel welcomed, informed, and supported. Whether assisting someone at the front desk, coordinating behind-the-scenes operations, or developing new ways to improve the patient experience, his goal is to ensure every interaction reflects the professionalism, compassion, and attention to detail that define Elkhorn Dermatology.
