Dr. Valeriya Kettelhut is the founder of Elkhorn Dermatology, where she combines her background as a former surgeon and scientist in medical informatics with a forward-thinking approach to skin health. Her work focuses on integrating advanced technology, evidence-based medicine, and holistic principles to support healthy skin and graceful aging.

Dr. Kettelhut is recognized for her expertise in skin health, prevention, and longevity-focused skincare, helping patients maintain vibrant, resilient skin at every stage of life. She emphasizes strategies that support the skin’s natural regenerative capacity, reduce inflammation, and promote long-term skin vitality. Her approach blends dermatologic science, aesthetic innovation, and wellness-based care to help patients maintain healthy skin while aging naturally and confidently.

Committed to improving access to skin cancer prevention and early detection in the Omaha community, Dr. Kettelhut has introduced advanced diagnostic tools, including AI-assisted skin imaging technologies, to enhance the accuracy and effectiveness of skin cancer screenings. She works closely with the clinic’s Scientific Board and medical team to implement evidence-based protocols that incorporate emerging research on the skin–gut microbiome connection, inflammation management, and personalized skin care strategies.

Elkhorn Dermatology in Omaha provides comprehensive medical, cosmetic, and preventive dermatology services. Our medical dermatology offerings include skin cancer risk assessment and screening for melanoma and non melanoma skin cancers, skin lesion evaluation and biopsies, patch testing for contact dermatitis, and diagnosis and treatment of acne, rosacea, hyperpigmentation, and eczema. We also provide benign growth removal, extractions, advanced facial imaging analysis, gut health and microbiome testing, IV therapy, and additional wellness services.
