Learn more about Elkhorn Dermatology’s practice policies.
At Elkhorn Dermatology, we are committed to delivering timely, professional, and patient-centered care. To ensure appointment availability and to respect the time of our patients and providers, we kindly ask that you review and follow the scheduling policies outlined below:
Late Arrivals
If you arrive more than 15 minutes after your scheduled appointment time, we may need to reschedule your visit.
We understand that unexpected delays can occur and will make every reasonable effort to accommodate late arrivals when possible. However, if doing so would impact other scheduled clients or compromise the quality of care, we will assist you in rescheduling at the next available convenient time.
Late Cancellations
Appointments canceled with less than 24 hours’ notice may be subject to a late cancellation fee ranging from $25 to $50, depending on the length and type of the scheduled appointment.
Missed Appointments (No-Show Policy)
If you do not attend your scheduled appointment without prior notice, a $50 no-show fee will be applied. Repeated missed appointments may result in restrictions on future scheduling or termination of the professional relationship at our discretion.
Our Commitment
This policy is designed to respect the time of our providers and ensure appointment availability for all clients. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in helping us maintain a smooth and efficient scheduling process.
Refund Policy for Services
At Elkhorn Dermatology, we are committed to providing high-quality, personalized medical and aesthetic care. Due to the nature of our services, all payments for visits, procedures, and treatments are final.
We do not offer refunds for services rendered. This includes completed appointments, in-office procedures, and treatment packages.
Pre-purchased services and treatment packages are non-refundable. Once purchased, funds may be applied as a credit toward other services within the practice. This policy applies regardless of whether treatments have been partially or fully completed.
Medical Exception Policy
In the event that a client develops a new medical condition or experiences a change in health status that makes the pre-purchased service no longer clinically appropriate, a partial refund may be considered on a case-by-case basis.
To be eligible for consideration, the client must provide written documentation from a licensed physician confirming the medical contraindication. All requests are subject to review and approval by Elkhorn Dermatology. Approved refunds, if any, will be issued only for the unused portion of the service package, and any administrative or consultation fees may be deducted.
Elkhorn Dermatology reserves the right to deny refund requests that do not meet these requirements or that lack appropriate medical documentation. This policy is intended to ensure patient safety while maintaining fairness and consistency in our practice.
Product Refund Policy
Elkhorn Dermatology offers carefully selected, high-quality medical-grade products. All product sales are final. For safety and quality control reasons, we do not accept returns or exchanges on purchased products.
Full payment is required on the day services are rendered. Elkhorn Dermatology accepts most major credit and debit cards, cash, checks, including HSA and FSA accounts. Financing options may be available through Cherry Payment Plans, subject to third-party approval and terms.
Elkhorn Dermatology accepts Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover. To ensure secure transactions:
Elkhorn Dermatology reserves the right to refuse or cancel any transaction suspected of fraud, unauthorized use, or legal non-compliance.
By purchasing products and/or receiving services at Elkhorn Dermatology, you acknowledge that you have read, understand, and agree to these policies.
